Jason’s 60 Second Bio

Jason realised his passions for customer service excellence and employee engagement in his early teens when starting his first business retailing information, communication and technology products and services. Over the following 15 years, he has applied these passions to the banking, financial, retail, technology and government sectors actualising significant revenue growth, increases in client satisfaction and employee engagement.

Jason believes in challenging the status quo, inspiring employees, transforming teams and delivering results. His process reengineering, communication, change management, leadership skills and ability to leverage emerging technologies are all enablers to delivering today and in the future.

Throughout his career, Jason has sought to do charitable work to assist others from all walks of life; he believes this to be an integral part of his working career and has found it extremely fulfilling. He is also an Executive Board Member of ACON, Australia’s largest community-based gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) health and HIV/AIDS organisation.

Jason has been nominated for multiple National Leadership Awards and links his success and business plan achievements to his passion for delivering to the most important assets to a business, employees and customers.

Jason is a passionate advocate of customer service excellence and employee engagement.

This passion has been evident from the age of 14 when he started his first business retailing information, communication and technology products and services. Over the pursuing 15 years Jason has delivered in the banking, finance, retail, technology and government sectors significant results in terms of revenue growth, client satisfaction and employee engagement.

When Jason says significant improvement he quite often means 100% improvement in results. Having delivered improvements in customer satisfaction and employee engagement multiple times over 100% - he is more than talk he delivers the results.

In addition Jason is an active member of the community and amongst other pursuits is currently Executive Board Member of
ACON, Australia’s largest community-based gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) health promotion and HIV/AIDS organisation.

Jason’s journey is interweaved with entrepreneurship, coproate and government employment and community service; a snapshot of the highlights is listed below

  • 1993 – Jason launches JSB Distributing, selling information, communication and technology products (ICT) in South East Queensland
  • 1998 – Jason launches Ultra Home Care, a domestic and commercial cleaning services business servicing South East Queensland
  • 1998 – Jason launches JSB Development Corporation, providing business consulting and business development services to small and medium businesses in South East Queensland
  • 1999 – Jason launches a Ultra Movie Rentals, a video rental business – a market Jason was glad to exit.
  • 1999 – Jason is appointed Assistant Centre Manager Suncorp Metway, Outsource Projects Division.
  • 2000 – Jason is appointed Coaching & Performance Development Specialist at Telstra’s Centre for Customer Experience, aiding the centre’s capability development and member of the centre leadership team.
  • 2002 – Jason Bradshaw is the youngest person to become a Tupperware Manager in Queensland
  • 2004 – Jason is appointed National Customer Service Manager at Optus Business, responsible for the end-to-end delivery to iconic corporate and government clients including General Motors, Carnival (P&O), Nestle, NSW Government and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, amongst others.
  • 2005 – Jason leads a number of Customer Experience Workshops connecting customers and the business together
  • 2006 – Jason is appointed Operational Delivery Manager within Optus Business, responsible for the C-Level relationship with strategic corporate and government customers.
  • 2007 – Jason is appointed National Technical Customer Operations Manager for Optus Business, responsible for establishing a new customer-facing unit delivering over 50% improvements in delivery times.
  • 2007 – 4U Group was launched providing a range of career coaching services delivered via the web
  • 2007 – Bradshaw Plus is launched provided a range of business development services to small and medium businesses in Sydney
  • 2007 - Jason is elected to the board of ACON, as Executive Board Member, Treasurer.
  • 2008 – Jason is appointed Senior Vendor Manager within NSW Procurement an office of the NSW Government, delivering enhanced value and savings while developing the ICT industry.
  • 2009 – Jason is keynote speak at a number of national conferences including CIPSA Category Management Conference, CIPSA Government Procurement Conference, NSW State & Regional Development Conference on Selling to Government
  • 2010 - Jason is appointed Director, Transformation Management Office, NSW Department of Services, Technology and Administration. Jason is responsible for leading the transformation of NSW Procurement into the Next Generation procurement organisation.
  • 2010 - Jason is elected to the Board of OzShowbiz Cares / Equity Fights Aids
